Monetization Rules
Zany pays creators for real attention. Here is exactly how eligibility, impressions, earnings and withdrawals work.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
Eligibility
- At least 500 followers.
- At least 10,000 eligible impressions.
- An account in good standing — no active suspension or unresolved strikes.
- Original content that follows the Community Rules.
When you meet both thresholds, apply from the Creator studio. Applications are either auto-approved or reviewed by staff.
How impressions are counted
An impression is recorded when your post is genuinely rendered in someone's feed. Counting happens on the server, never in the browser, and each viewer is identified by a one-way hashed key.
- One impression per viewer per post — refreshing does not add more.
- Views of your own posts never count.
- Known bots, crawlers and headless browsers are excluded before counting.
- Very new accounts do not generate eligible impressions, to stop burst farming.
How earnings are calculated
There is no fixed rate per 1,000 views. Instead, Zany shares real monthly revenue with creators through the creator pool: each month, 60% of the platform's revenue goes into the pool and is shared among approved creators by creator score.
Your creator score is your share of all qualified activity on Zany this month, weighted as:
- 70% views — your qualified views ÷ all qualified views.
- 20% likes — your qualified likes ÷ all qualified likes.
- 10% comments — your qualified comments ÷ all qualified comments.
earnings = creator score × creator pool
Your live score, the current pool and your estimated earnings are always visible in the Creator studio. Because the pool depends on the month's real revenue, your effective rate per 1,000 views varies from month to month — it is an estimate, never a guarantee.
Ads are separate
Advertising slots do not feed the creator counter. Seeing, ignoring or clicking an ad has zero effect on your impressions or your balance.
Fraud — what voids earnings
- Bots, scripts, emulators, or automated refresh loops.
- Buying followers, views or engagement.
- Engagement rings and multi-account self-viewing.
- Stolen or mass-reposted content presented as your own.
Detected fraud voids the affected impressions and earnings, can freeze a pending withdrawal, and repeat offences permanently remove the account from the programme.
When earnings settle
Earnings settle monthly. Your estimated earnings during the month only become withdrawable after the month's revenue period is finalized — that is, once the advertising revenue has been received and verified and any invalid traffic has been removed.
- Estimated — your current share of the pool while the month is still open.
- Available — finalized earnings from previous months, ready to withdraw on the next window.
Withdrawal window
- Requests can only be sent between the 28th and 30th of each month (UTC). The button is closed on every other day and reopens automatically.
- A month's earnings are paid out the following month — for example, August earnings can be withdrawn during the September window.
- Payment is made the same day or within 3 days of the request.
- Only finalized earnings from previous months can be requested.
Withdrawals
- Minimum payout: $10.
- One open request at a time — the next can be raised after the current one settles.
- Paid in USDT or USDC only — no bank transfers and no PayPal.
- You choose the network (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20, Polygon or Solana) and provide your own wallet address.
- Wrong addresses or networks cannot be recovered — check them before submitting.
- Requests are reviewed before payout; suspicious activity pauses the review.
Withdrawal fees
You are responsible for the fee of your withdrawal.
Losing monetization
Monetization can be paused or removed for policy breaches, prolonged inactivity, or fraud. Genuine earnings already credited before removal remain withdrawable once any review is complete. You can appeal from Settings → Account.
